Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of acupoint massage combined with traditional Chinese medicine heat package on relieving abdominal distension and pain after colonoscopy general anesthesia and the influence on patient comfort.Methods 300 patients who underwent painless colonoscopy in our hospital from January to June 2024 were randomly divided into observation group (n=150) and control group (n=150). The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given acupoint massage combined with cumin kosher salt heat dumpling intervention on the basis of routine nursing. Abdominal distension VAS score, first exhaust time, comfort score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups at different time points.Results The VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 3h after operation (2.6±1.2 vs 4.7±1.5, P<0.001), and the first exhaust time was shorter (22.3±6.5min vs 34.1±8.7min, P<0.01). Comfort scores and nursing satisfaction were higher than those of control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupoint massage combined with traditional Chinese medicine heat package can effectively relieve abdominal distension and pain after colonoscopy general anesthesia, improve patient comfort, and have clinical value.
