Abstract： Objective To explore the influencing factors and current situation about frailty of the elderly patients in Beijing, and to provide references for further health assessment about elderly patients, in order to provide reference about choosing the right methods for nursing elderly patients and improving the quality of nursing. Methods The convenience sampling method was used to select the elderly inpatients admitted to three hospitals in Beijing from April to May 2021. Use the Tilburg frailty indicator (TFI) to investigate and assess the 200 elderly patients. Results The score of frailty in elderly patients is (5.34±2.99), about 57.99%(98/169) elderly patients were living with frailty. Lower scores of the project was “Questions related to living alone”(13.02%), “Cognition”(13.02%) and “Coping” (18.93%); Higher scores of the project was “Physical health”(68.05%), “difficulty in walking”(55.03%) and “Physical tiredness”(49.70%). The elderly patients’ “age”, “presence of two or more chronic diseases”, “life events in the last year” were related to frailty(P＜0.05). Conclusion In hospitals of Beijing, the frailty conditions are more common in elderly patients. It should be highly concerned about the elderly patients in nursing working, in order to provide nursing skills systematically and reasonably, make them adapted to the life in hospital.

Abstract： To explore the causes and nursing strategies of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) removal difficulty in senior elderly patients. A senior elderly patient with PICC difficulty for removing was analyzed comprehensively. The main reasons for the difficulty of removal were the adhesion of the catheter tip to the wall of superior vena cava, the change of anatomical structure of the vein and the loss of elasticity of the catheter after repeated pulling. The senior elderly group has some characteristics different from the general patient group, such as long-term bed rest, limb loss, long-term intravenous parenteral nutrition and so on, During the use of PICC, attention should be paid to abnormal changes of catheter, consult with specialist nurses in time, and solve problems with multidisciplinary consultation when necessary, so as to avoid difficulties in removal caused by improper maintenance and improper removal operation and serious complications caused by removal failure.

Abstract： The nursing experience of a case of cardiac cancer patient with cryptogenic organizing pneumonia followed by immunotherapy was summarized. In the process of immune therapy in patients with severe immune-related adverse event, the nursing key points included the strict protective isolation, avoiding cross-infection, specialist nursing and basic nursing interventions such as body position nursing, oxygen inhalation care, maintenance of infusion port, weight management and surveillance, strict drug instruction, skin care for herpes zoster, and paying attention to the psychological changes of patients and mood-stabilizing. After 27 days of treatment and careful nursing, the patient''s condition improved significantly, the cryptogenic organizing pneumonia was well controlled, and the patient was discharged from hospital.
