Abstract： This paper summarized the nursing practice of a patient with gastrointestinal dysfunction during mechanical ventilation in ICU, and investigated the effect of acupoint massage combined with Chinese herbal medicine hot compress in treatment of dysfunction during mechanical ventilation. Based on the comprehensive clinical examination, Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques and care bundles were carried out. Meridians and acupoints were selected by using sydromne differentiation, and acupoint massage combined with Chinese herbal medicine hot compress was carried out to relieve the clinical symptoms of gastrointestinal dysfunction during mechanical ventilation. Decreased scores of NRS-2002 assessment, acute gastrointestinal injury and activity of daily living were reported after intervention, indicating the efficacy of acupoint massage combined with Chinese herbal medicine hot compress in the treatment of gastrointestinal dysfunction during mechanical ventilation.

Abstract：总结1例老年重症患者进行肠内营养支持时出现严重胃肠功能障碍，通过应用中医适宜技术及针对患者个性化管理改善患者胃肠功能障碍的护理体会。针对本例老年重症胃肠功能障碍患者实际情况制定护理措施：中医适宜技术（耳穴压丸、足三里穴位注射和艾灸）和鼻饲管路护理。经过28天的精心治疗与护理，本例老年重症胃肠功能障碍患者的肠内营养喂养量逐渐达到喂养方案，胃残余量监测逐渐趋于正常，未再发生腹胀、腹泻症状，白蛋白等监测指标趋于正常，AGI急性胃肠损伤分级由入院时Ⅱ级到出院时0级，恢复效果较好。

Abstract： Objective: To summarize the nursing process of a case of septic shock complicated with gastrointestinal dysfunction, and provide a reference for the nursing of severe patients with such diseases. Methods: Through the physical examination, digestive examination, circulation examination and infection of patients with sepsis, western medicine clearly diagnosed sepsis shock, acute gastroenteritis, and traditional Chinese medicine diagnosed the syndrome of withdrawal of yang qi and phlegm stagnation. During the whole treatment process, we will provide gastrointestinal function management, anti-infection, fluid infusion and pressure boosting, regulation of flora imbalance, perianal skin management, and emotional nursing measures of traditional Chinese medicine. Results: The gastrointestinal function of the patient recovered and the condition was stable. The patient was transferred to the general ward for further treatment. Conclusion: In the process of comprehensive nursing intervention in traditional Chinese medicine, traditional medical theories and methods are adopted to treat patients with characteristic technical methods of traditional Chinese medicine nursing, combined with maintenance, and nursing intervention is carried out for patients with severe sepsis gastrointestinal dysfunction at the same time, which is intended to improve the clinical effect and recover the autonomic function.
