Abstract： Objective To observe the effect of improved cupping combined with head scraping in the treatment of wind-cold common cold.Methods 30 patients with wind-cold type cold admitted from September to December, 2023 were treated with improved cupping method of meridian balance in traditional Chinese medicine combined with head scraping, and the changes of symptoms and signs of cold before and after treatment were observed.Results Among the 30 patients, 17 cases were cured once, 5 cases were cured twice and 2 cases were cured three times. The total cure rate was 80%.Conclusion The improved cupping method combined with head scraping can effectively treat wind-cold cold.
