Title：Nursing Experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine External Application Combined with Auricular Point Pressing Pill for Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Heart Failure

Abstract: To summarize the nursing experience of traditional Chinese medicine application combined with auricular point pressing pill in the treatment of one patient with acute exacerbation of chronic heart failure (Kidney Water Invading Heart syndrome). During the nursing period, the dynamic changes of the patient’s condition and vital signs were closely monitored, and routine nursing measures such as targeted diet guidance, emotional conditioning, standardized medication education and moderate exercise guidance were implemented. On the basis of routine Western medicine nursing, following the principle of TCM syndrome differentiation nursing, appropriate TCM characteristic external interventions including traditional Chinese medicine application and auricular point pressing pill were carried out according to the patient’s syndrome characteristics, and a systematic and individualized integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing plan was implemented. The results showed that the characteristic TCM nursing intervention could effectively relieve the patient’s clinical symptoms such as chest tightness, asthma, edema, irritability and insomnia, stabilize cardiac and renal function, alleviate negative emotions, significantly improve the patient’s comfort level and treatment compliance, ameliorate the patient’s overall quality of life, and promote disease recovery.Conclusion TCM characteristic nursing with traditional Chinese medicine application combined with auricular point pressing pill is safe and effective for patients with acute exacerbation of chronic heart failure. It can significantly improve patients’ clinical symptoms and physical and mental status, which has high clinical application value and is worthy of promotion.
