Abstract: Outpatients often have negative emotions throughout the entire process of seeking medical treatment, and psychological care plays a very important role in patients with negative emotions. This article analyzes the role of psychological nursing in regulating negative emotions in outpatient patients from the perspective of clinical practice. Due to the different basic conditions of patients, their experiences, multi-level social backgrounds, and cultural backgrounds, the characteristics presented by different types of patients during outpatient treatment are completely different. Based on the negative emotions generated by outpatient patients at different stages of treatment, specialized psychological nursing work is carried out to promote the stable psychological state of outpatient patients, improve their medical experience, and improve the level of outpatient nursing services.

Abstract:
This paper summarized the application effect of cold compress of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in a patient with wind-warm and pulmonary heat syndrome. According to the outcomes of nursing evaluation and diagnosis, the TCM cold compress therapy was carried out in combination with nursing interventions such as daily care, nutrition guidance, emotion nursing, and so on. The TCM cold compress therapy has obvious effect on body cooling during fever caused by wind-warm and pulmonary heat syndrome, and it demonstrates the characteristics of easy-to-use, convenience and cost-effectiveness.
